David Marshall (Singaporean politician) (12 March 1908 – 31 December 1995), was a Singaporean lawyer and the leader of the Singapore Labour Front, a political party. In the 1955 general election, the Labour Front gained a majority in the Legislative Assembly of Singapore and he became the first Chief Minister of Singapore. |
