DescriptionHMS Courageous - geograph.org.uk - 604832.jpg |
English: HMS Courageous. Decommissioned SS(N) - Submersible Ship (Nuclear). Sister ship of HMS Conqueror, the vessel that sunk the Belgrano. This is a hunter killer (hunter and killer largely of fellow submarines) rather than a ballistic missile boat. This vessel is opened to the public on occasions but only forward of the machinery spaces. |
