Summary
DescriptionIndigenous people and their influence of crops and land.jpg |
English: Indigenous peoples were able to create new strains and species of plants. This process was carried out through the domestication of various crops, such as maize, which was obtained from the wild teosinte grasses in Mexico. Today, almost all of the crops that were domesticated by the Indigenous peoples are widely used and produced globally. |
