Hardial Singh

Hardial Singh Bajaj (born April 5, 1905, in Khanqah Dogran, British India died September 18, 1967, in Singapore) was a prominent Southeast Asian of Indian origin. He was the son of Mehar Singh (father) and Thakur Devi (mother), the eldest of six children. He was first married to Kirpal Kaur, daughter of Tara Singh (Lalaji). They had seven children. Shortly before her death, she requested her family to marry her younger sister to Hardial Singlh.

In 1933, Hardial Singh followed through with his first wife’s wishes and married Milap Kaur. They had nine children in addition to Singh’s previous seven.
Hardial Singh settled down in Singapore and built an empire which is often referred to as the Bajaj Dynasty.
