High&Low The Movie (stylized as HiGH&LOW THE MOVIE) is a 2016 Japanese action film directed by Shigeaki Kubo. High&Low The Movie premiered in Tokyo on 4 July 2016 with more than 50 people appeared on its stage greeting event in Tokyo International Forum and was released in Japan by Shochiku on 16 July 2016. The film was released in South Korea on 12 January 2017 and in Taiwan on 20 January 2017.[10] To celebrated the release of the film, 36 actors and singers, who took part in the High&Low project, participated in a series of stage greetings events held in 143 cinemas in all 47 prefectures of Japan in 3 days.[11] It grossed ¥2.1 billion and attracted 1.6 million audiences.[2]
