The University of North Carolina Press (or UNC Press), founded in 1922, is a university press associated with the University of North Carolina.[1] It was the first university press founded in the Southern United States.[1] It is a member of the Association of University Presses (AUPresses)[2] and publishes both scholarly and general-interest publications, most of which are about women's studies, feminist literature, and historical works.
