Gündoğan, historically Turbessel (Syriac: Tel Bshir; Arabic: Tell Bāshir or Tel-Basheir; Armenian: Թլպաշար, romanized: Tʿlpašar; Turkish: Tilbeşar or Tilbaşar), is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Oğuzeli, Gaziantep Province, Turkey.[1] Its population is 374 (2022).[2] It was originally a fortress that played an important role in the Crusades, remnant of which is a tumulus.
