The term chicken wire in chemistry is used in different contexts. Most of them relate to the similarity of the regular hexagonal (honeycomb-like) patterns found in certain chemical compounds to the mesh structure commonly seen in real chicken wire.

- You should add {{Fact}} to anything without a citation. But things that should be common knowledge shouldn't be tagged with this ok?
- To use, type the two brackets and the word fact in between it like this: {{Fact}}. When you hit save, it should turn out like this: [citation needed]
