Harghita (IPA: [har.'gi.ta]; Romanian: Judeţul Harghita; Hungarian: Hargita megye) is a county (judeţ) in the central part of Romania, in the eastern part of Transylvania. The capital of Harghita County is Miercurea-Ciuc.
