Andreas "Andi" Babler (born 25 February 1973) is an Austrian politician serving as Chair of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ),[1] and mayor of the city and municipality of Traiskirchen.[2] He is also a member of the Federal Council of Austria[3][4] and has been appointed as chairperson of the reform commission of the Social Democratic Party of Lower Austria.[5] In 2023, Die Presse characterised Babler as a far-left politician.[6][7][8]
