Andrei Kolesnikov (general)

Andrei Borisovich Kolesnikov (Russian: Андрей Борисович Колесников;[1] born 6 February 1977) is a Russian major-general (one-star rank) who according to Ukraine was killed in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Kolesnikov's death had not been confirmed by the Russian Federation. On 14 March 2023, Kolesnikov appeared in an interview with Vladimir Soloviev on Russian TV.
In this name that follows Eastern Slavic naming customs, the patronymic is Borisovich and the family name is Kolesnikov.
