Fani Taifa Willis[3] (née Floyd; /fɑːniː/, FAH-nee;[3] born October 27, 1971)[1][2] is an American attorney. She is the district attorney of Fulton County, Georgia, which contains most of Atlanta, serving since 2021.[4] She is the first woman to hold the office.[5] Willis investigated the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, which resulted in indictments against Donald Trump and 18 alleged co-conspirators on charges of racketeering and other crimes.
