Kobe Bufkin (/ˈkoʊbi ˈbʌfkɪn/ KOH-bee, BUF-kin;[1] born September 21, 2003) is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Hawks drafted him with the 15th overall selection in the 2023 NBA draft. He has also played professionally for the Hawks' NBA G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. Bufkin played in high school for Grand Rapids Christian High School where he was a three-time All-state honoree and a 2021 McDonald's All-American Boys Game selection. Bufkin played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines where he was a 2023 third team All Big Ten selection as a sophomore.
