Temenos is also a small village in the municipality Paranesti, northern Greece.
Temenos (Greek: Τέμενος) is a former municipality in the Heraklion Regional Unit, Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Heraklion, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The municipal unit has an area of 56.608 km2.[3] Population 3,421 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Profitis Ilias.
