Varosha (Greek: Βαρώσια, romanized: Varósia, locally [vaˈɾoʃa]; Turkish: Maraş [maˈɾaʃ] or Kapalı Maraş[2][3]) is the southern quarter of the Famagusta, a de jure territory of Cyprus, currently under the control of Northern Cyprus.
