The 1942 Pittsburgh Steelers season was the franchise's 10th season in the National Football League (NFL). The team improved on their previous season result of 1–9–1 with a record of 7–4–0, which was good enough for 2nd place in the NFL East.[1] This was the franchise's first ever winning record.
