Abrau-Dyurso or Abrau-Durso (Russian: Абрау-Дюрсо) is a rural locality (a selo) under the administrative jurisdiction of the City of Novorossiysk in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is located on the shore of Lake Abrau, 14 kilometers (8.7 mi) west of Novorossiysk. It should not be confused with the khutor of Dyurso,[4] which is located 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) to the south, where the Dyurso River enters the Black Sea, and which is sometimes incorrectly considered to be a part of Abrau-Dyurso.[5] Population: 3,519 (2010 Russian census);[1] 2,982 (2002 Census);[6] 2,792 (1989 Soviet census).[7]
