Charanjit Singh Channi [1] (born 2 April 1963) is an Indian politician who served as the 16th Chief Minister of Punjab. He is a member of the Indian National Congress.[2] He was also Minister of Technical Education and Training in Second Amarinder Singh ministry and leader of the opposition in the Punjab Legislative Assembly.[2] He was the first Dalit to become the CM of Punjab.[3]
