Object history |
English: The arms were last granted on June 29, 1956, first in 1926, designed by Otto Hupp. They are derived from a seal of 1708, but lightly changed with adding a star as sign for safe orientment on sea and developement oft the city. The motto means: "Its doubtful, where fate goads" |
