DescriptionWalt Whitman - America Version 2.ogg | Somewhat restored version of a 36-second wax cylinder recording of what is thought to be Whitman's voice reading the first four lines of his poem "America". This version cuts off abruptly after the last word, as in the original source file. I don't really care for that effect, so in the alternative restoration, a second or so of noise is appended at the end for a gentler "play out". | |||||||
