Gergebilsky District

Gergebilsky District (Russian: Герге́бильский райо́н; Avar: Хьаргаби мухъ) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-one in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. It is located in the center of the republic. The area of the district is 341.9 square kilometers (132.0 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Gergebil.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 19,910, with the population of Gergebil accounting for 26.1% of that number.[3]
