The name Kendayan is preferred in Kalimantan, Indonesia, and Salako in Sarawak, Malaysia. It is sometimes referred to as bahasa BadameĆ , particularly in Bengkayang Regency and the areas near Singkawang City.[3] Other dialects of Kendayan include Ahe, Banana and Belangin.
