Lorene Rogers

Lorene Lane Rogers (April 3, 1914 ā January 11, 2009) was an American biochemist and educator who served as the 21st President of the University of Texas at Austin.[1] She has been described as the first woman in the United States to lead a major research university.[2][3][4]
