Marisa Merz (23 May 1926 ā 20 July 2019) was an Italian artist and sculptor.[1] In the 1960s, Merz was the only female protagonist associated with the radical Arte povera movement.[2][3] In 2013 she was awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Biennale.[4] She lived and worked in Turin, Italy.[1]
