Montagny (French: [mɔ̃taɲi]; Arpitan: Montagni) is a municipality in the district of Broye, in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. In 2000 the municipality was created when Montagny-les-Monts and Montagny-la-Ville merged.[3] On 1 January 2004 the former municipality of Mannens-Grandsivaz merged into the municipality of Montagny (FR).[4]
