Muhammad Hafizuddeain bin Jantan

General Dato' Muhammad Hafizuddeain bin Jantan[1] (born 18th April 1968) is a Malaysian military officer who currently serves as the 30th Chief of Army since September 2023. Prior to his appointment, he previously served as the Deputy Chief of Army from April 2023 to September 2023.[2][3]
In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Jantan is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Muhammad Hafizuddeain. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
