The River Spey (Scottish Gaelic: Uisge Spè) is a river in the northeast of Scotland. At 98 mi (158 km)[3] it is the ninth longest river in the United Kingdom, as well as the second longest[4] and fastest-flowing river in Scotland. (The Tay is the longest and the Clyde is third and of very similar length to the Spey).[4] It is important for salmon fishing and whisky production.
