Sylvia Stone

Sylvia Stone (1928 – September 5, 2011)[1] was a Canadian sculptor.[2] Her work is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art[2] and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.[3] She was a tenured professor at Brooklyn College and a notable Abstract artist of the New York School, best known for her large-scale sculptures made from Plexiglass.
