São Paulo State Government

The São Paulo State Government is based in the city of São Paulo and covers the state's administrative structure, as established by the Federal and State Constitutions. It is composed of three powers: the Executive, the Legislative and the Judiciary. The governor commands the state executive, the legislature consists of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo (Portuguese: Assembleia Legislativa do Estado de São Paulo - ALESP) and the judiciary is headed by the Court of Justice of São Paulo (Tribunal de Justiça de São Paulo).[1][2]
