A third season was launched on 27 October 2012 that included Darin Zanyar, Miss Li, Maja Ivarsson, Olle Ljungström, Magnus Uggla, Pugh Rogefeldt and Sylvia Vrethammar.
The format of the show is based on Beste Zangers, a Dutch show first broadcast in 2009, and since franchised to 9 countries.
