In Japan, Time Flies entered the charts at number 2, with first-week sales of 59,348 copies;[1] while in the United Kingdom, it entered the charts at number 1, with first-week sales of 101,297. It was the 900th album ever to top the UK Albums Chart.[2] It has been certified 6× platinum in the UK with the equivalent of 1.8 million sales. This is the most of any Oasis album since their third studio album Be Here Now also went 6x platinum.
