The Warsangeli (Somali: Warsangali, Arabic: قبيلة ورسنجلي)[1] is a noble Somali sub clan. It is part of the Harti clan, which belongs to the Darod, one of the largest Somali tribe-families.[2][3] In the Somali language, the name Warsangali means "bringer of good news."[1] The Warsangali primarily inhabit the Sanaag region, Jubaland, Djibouti and Sultanate of Oman .[4]
