Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty (born December 8, 1982), known professionally as Nicki Minaj (/mɪˈnɑːʒ/), is a Trinidadian rapper and singer based in the United States. She is better known as the Queen of Rap[6] by the media and is considered to be one of the biggest stars of female hip-hop.
